Amazing sushi spot in the Metrotown area! I ordered the Sunshine Roll and salmon sashimi, both were fresh and flavorful. I also tried the bluefin negitoro with uni nigiri, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. I’d come back just for that alone! The staff member working was also amazing! He was so sweet and providing amazing customer service.

Had Roll Combo A ($15.95) for lunch. Adequate size and price for a meal. The rolls were just standard - California roll, dynamite roll, and BC roll. The imitation crab wasn't very sweet in the California roll, and I felt that the salmon skin in the BC roll was more burnt than grilled in taste. It had more of an ashy aftertaste (a bit more palatable with the sauce included). If I had to rate separately, I'd do 3/5 for food, but the service elevated my rating to a 4. The lady server was kept busy but did check in on our meal, and offered to refill our tea (without us asking). Very friendly. Easy to get to the restaurant, as it's a couple minutes walk from the Metrotown skytrain and bus loop.

Sushi Toki is such a hidden gem! Their special rolls are truly special and so unique. You can really taste the love, freshness, and creativity in every bite. The prices are super affordable which makes every visit feel extra good. The staff are so polite and attentive and it still amazes me that such great sushi is made right next to the SkyTrain. The chef’s table is right at the entrance and he always greets us with the most beautiful and authentic smile when we come in and when we leave. Thank you Sushi Toki team for making so many wonderful lunches and dinners for us. We will always visit and cheer for your business to grow. You are amazing!

Ordered bento boxes today and everything delicately carefully prepared with nice presentation. Oshi sushi like sushi cakes. Maki sushi bite size with not too much rice. Tempura batter nice and crispy. Server attentive. Went back again. Food good but waiter very busy with phone orders. Finally came by with tea refills and extra wasabi. Came in again today with 9 guests. We had mainly bento boxes and enjoyed them all. Went again and had yam tempura, crab mango roll, kimchi salmon hotpot. Would have preferred fried salmon on top to maintain crispness but all good. Server nanako very friendly. Came again and we had salmon sashimi and avocado roll. Came again today and ordered 4 rolls. Enjoyed avocado roll, house roll, California roll, wild salmon roll. Quite reasonably priced. Not busy at lunch with lots of seating and fast attentive service. Came again and we ordered bc roll, California roll, mango avocado roll and others. All good, reasonable price, and good service. The visit left me with the impression that they're still in the process of refining their concept, as both the menu and the ambiance felt somewhat scattered and hectic. It’s commendable, however, to see them aiming to distinguish themselves in a crowded market, particularly with bold choices like incorporating bluefin tuna into their dishes. Although the simpler fare I sampled didn't sweep me off my feet, there’s potential here, and I’m curious enough to think a second visit might be in order to fully experience what they have to offer.

Food was delicious, reasonably priced, came quickly to the table. I ordered 3 rolls, tried a few things from my friends orders too, everything was really good! Beat my expectations. Will definitely come back!
